“Two buildings, one pattern — calibrated in light, density, and reflection — where maybe the most lasting connection isn’t in form, but in the quiet geometry that ties them together.”

RTL Headquarter - roof and façade pattern

For the RTL Headquarters, we were tasked with designing a building-scale pattern that could visually connect the old and new structures while giving each its own distinct character. The challenge was to create a seamless stone-like texture across large glass surfaces — roofs and façades — without repeating a single element.

The solution was a continuous triangular pattern, carefully calibrated in density to respond to context. On the existing building, the pattern was printed directly onto the glass roof and façade, producing a bold and textured appearance. On the new glass office wing, the pattern was applied as a foil, allowing greater transparency while maintaining a strong visual identity.

Beyond aesthetics, the foil served a functional purpose: it satisfied zoning regulations by providing a defined level of visual closure on the plot boundary, while also offering a cost-effective alternative to printed glass. Together, the two buildings now share a unified architectural language, expressed through one continuous yet adaptable pattern.
