“Maybe the most forgotten spaces are the ones with the most potential — not for grand gestures, but for small, everyday moments that bring people together.”
DC Garden - reimagined
This project transforms an underutilized rear barrier space into a vibrant outdoor extension of the workplace. Without altering the existing structural grid, we introduced a series of elevated, lightweight pedestrian walkways that are easy to assemble and disassemble. These walkways connect informal gathering points, featuring integrated wooden seating areas designed for coffee breaks and lunch retreats.
The material palette harmonizes with the surrounding architecture of the DC Tower—using perforated mesh surfaces that echo its contemporary language, complemented by warm wooden elements that invite comfort and usability. The result is a functional, visually cohesive garden that fosters relaxation, interaction, and a stronger connection to the urban environment.
